Emory’s Department of Pediatrics recently appointed Nael McCarty in cystic fibrosis a new Marcus Professor. The professorships, 15 in all, are part of the Marcus Society, funded by a $5 million gift from the Marcus Foundation to tackle complex issues affecting children. The Department of Pediatrics recently appointed seven new Marcus Professors.
